    Responsibilities

Our Direct Support Professionals (DSP) are key players in the quality of care we offer. Success in this role comes through building meaningful long-term relationships with those we serve.

Respite Services: Weekend, Club, Summer Camps

Also part of our Family Services division, these programs are designed to assist those we serve with developing and enhancing their social skills within the community. As a Direct Support Professional (DSP) in Respite Services you will have the opportunity to work with our individual population in a social setting while providing them opportunities to integrate into the community through one of our respite program.

Whether you’re serving in our Weekend, Club, or Summer Camps programs, be prepared for a high energy, fun, and a fast-paced environment!

Our DSP's serve individuals with a combination of high or low behaviors, high or low medical needs, and high or low functioning individuals in a variety of ways, which may include:

    • Supporting individuals with daily needs
    • Administering medications
    • Cooking and housework
    • Provide constant supervision
    • Participate in water activities (pool, waterslides, hot tub, etc.)
    • Transportation to appointments and community events

While we don’t require previous experience as a DSP, we do strongly prefer professional or personal experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities.
